Underappreciated Bassists in famous bands

I'll add some newer bands, though, I appreciate the classics!

Tom Peloso from Modest Mouse. He played bluegrass before playing rock. His scales and grooves make the songs. The man lives in the pocket.

Michael Ivins from the Flaming Lips. I love visiting their early albums and seeing how far they have progressed as musicians.
Listen to "ego tripping at the gates of hell." Amazing and creative intro. Reminds me of an abstract version of "if you want me to stay" by Graham in the Stone days.

I can go on and on. I love all varities of music, but these two bassists stand out for me!
