Lol about being sorry. A lot of his fans might not even know he plays bass!
Around here we all pretty much know he's a fantastic bassist. If you are unfamiliar check out his early bass work with The Police. I much prefer his raw style of playing back then, even though he went on to write much more sophisticated songs.
I recall seeing The Police in about 1979 at a relatively small theater in downtown Miami somewhere near the old basketball arena.I wish I was old enough to have gone to a Police concert!
BTW Paramore is outdated too.
Her voice ruins the music for me personally. The band is really good though. I hadn't noticed his bass playing before. Nice link.
Here's an underrated/semi-obscure from the same era. Tempted of course is great, but this bassline is just perfect as well. IMO.
