Unwatchable movies

Why do some people concern themselves with the journey their money takes after they spend it, and seem to feel they have an interest in making sure it doesn't go towards something they don't approve of once it's left their hands?

Do these people vet their grocer's and their plumber's finances as thoroughly as they vet movie actors', I wonder?

I think one of the worst movies I ever saw was The Cook the Thief His Wife & Her Lover. If anyone has ever seen it, they'll know what I mean. It's just creepy gross.

The Avengers. The Mrs. Peel and John Steed one with Ralph Fiennes and Uma Thurman. Such a shame. The tv series was a classic but the movie sucked.

Matrix Revolutions. What happened to this movie franchise? I can watch it but such a bizarre ending. Saved from total crappiness by a cool car chase.

Highlander 2. Come on. Space aliens?

Highlander 3,4,5....Uh what?
They had such a great opportunity with these movies but screwed it up royally. Thank the lord for the tv series, which I really liked. And it had Roger Daltrey. :D

Whether this discussion falls under this category is not for me to decide.

Anchorman. After 30 minutes I came to the conclusion that it was the stupidest movie I'd ever seen, so I shut off the DVD player in order to prevent the further loss of brain cells. I swore to myself that if I ever met Wil Ferrell I'd punch him in the mouth for making such crap.

Syriana was pretty unwatchable, too.

I'm a pretty big Will Ferrell fan but I couldn't get into Anchorman. I'll have to try again but I think based on what I was heard I was expecting it to me something more than it actually was.

Jarhead...I lasted 5 minutes and I had to turn it off.

Freddy Got Fingered was also the only movie that I literally almost walked out on. The only thing that stopped me was the fact that my date seemed to be enjoying it. I don't get offended easily and I was absolutely disgusted by this movie.
