Tom, when all is said and done, can you post your favorite SMALL rig (practice and/or small club) and your favorite medium rig (large club with PA support).

I can sort of do this. I do have problems choosing favorites! But. I hope to do a 1x8/1x10/1x12 shootout (maybe with a 2x8 or two thrown in), as well as a "single cab solution" shootout. Maybe I'll do a side bar on some of the other "medium" sized cabs (1x15's, etc.) and how they fit in the picture.

I dont know what kind of music you play, and OF COURSE "favorite" is a personal prefernece.

Yes, picking favorites is difficult even for one person, because I do play a wide variety of music. Currently, it's mostly rock-n-roll, but I've done classical, jazz, bluegrass, country, big band, swing, and probably some I'm forgetting. For the record, I am predominantly a fingerstyle player, thoguh I do pop some, and slap even less. I'll break out a pick for a song or two, but I am not a very proficient pick player (or slapper).

For my questions, assume a decent rock bass (higher end fender/lower - mid level semi custom bass) and mixed classic/pop rock music (drum, rythm guit, lead guit, keys, maybe a percussionist.)

That's easy for me to do!
