Would I still blow the 210 if it's rated for 200w?That opens up an entire new arena of problems, mainly you'll end up blowing the 210 or underutilizing the 410 which defeats the purpose of adding another cab

Search for a thread on mixing drivers here on Tb, I'm sure guys on there can explain it much more eloquently than I ever could.Would I still blow the 210 if it's rated for 200w?
Pardon my ignorance, but when someone says "400 watts @ 8 ohms" that means a 400W amp with an 8 ohm load (cab). Right?I had s similar issue. HArtke 4x10 XL and a GK 400.
Yes, you need an amp with a 400 watt rating @ 8 ohms or in that range.
One comment said power is pretty much irrelevant here. Man, I'm confused...That being said a 410 should be enough speakers which is why I originally suggested a more powerful amp. Gk 700rbii can be had used for 2-400 dollars easy and will peel paint off the walls.
Means the amp is 400w @ 8ohm rated power. The cab rated 400w @ 8 ohm could get pushed too hard under full tilt boogiePardon my ignorance, but when someone says "400 watts @ 8 ohms" that means a 400W amp with an 8 ohm load (cab). Right?
I just read the owner's manual, my head is rated for 200w, and a "4 ohm minimum load"... So, 200w @ 4 ohms?Means the amp is 400w @ 8ohm rated power. The cab rated 400w @ 8 ohm could get pushed too hard under full tilt boogie
A lot of heads are rated to 4 ohm total load, which in your case is 200w.
I believe the point he was making is that the surface area of 2x 410 is an effective way to get more volume by only adding a cabOne comment said power is pretty much irrelevant here. Man, I'm confused...
So either use a more powerful amp with a half stack (my one 410), or complete the stack with a second 410 with the same amp?I believe the point he was making is that the surface area of 2x 410 is an effective way to get more volume by only adding a cab
Of course driving those with more power increases the volume as well. Two ways to row the same boat
Try a new head first. Couple of good brand and models suggested based on what you can afford or is available where you are (or shipped, thank you USPS)So either use a more powerful amp with a half stack (my one 410), or complete the stack with a second 410 with the same amp?
Just pop the back of the offending guitarist's cab and swap polarity on 2 of his drivers..If that doesn't work, SVT and 2x 810 + earplugs
Oh and tell the guitar player to turn down![]()
Sticking your foot on the input jack has a notable change in volume as wellJust pop the back of the offending guitarist's cab and swap polarity on 2 of his drivers..

You, sir, are full of fine suggestions todayAs does telling him that the gig is 2 towns over and texting him the wrong address![]()
