Let’s not beat around the bush.

One of, if not my favorite tunes of all time. Sadly it was so overplayed in the eighties at weddings to every other function that it now resides in the same musical realm as Over the Rainbow played by the big fella with the uke. But wow, the music, the lyric and the live versions just make for a great song. I saw him do it in Chicago on the So reunion tour and the energy was unbelievable.

For joyful, few songs do it for me quite as much as Cat Steven’s Foreigner Suite.

It also doesn't hurt that he manages to pack as much musical inventiveness and creativity into this 17 minute long piece as many musicians only end up doing in their entire career.
