Urgent: TalkBass Mobile App Terminating

I am a developer. My advice is to stick with one web server version. Make it "mobile aware", which for an application like this is not overly complicated these days ( with new CSS/HTML5/JS/etc. ). But it is a whole lot easier, and cheaper, to do just-web than to have parallel development on both a web version and an Objective C version or whatever else the app is written in. IMHO, YMMV.

I have never used your app, your website works fine on my mobile smartphone.

There’s an app? I’ve always used Safari on various apples. And I just got an iPhone SE, replacing a larger 6, and it still looks just fine to me.

I've got the TB app on my android phone and still prefer to access TB using the Firefox browser anyway. I agree with nbsipics. Focus your time and resources on what already works very well.

Site works just fine in a browser. I've used it in chrome, Firefox (Samsung S5) and safari (POFS iPhone 7). I would probably not bother with the app anyway.

Turn your phone sideways.
When the screen flips to landscape mode the "first unread" button appears as though by magic

There’s an awful lot of words here I don’t understand but my iPad seems to work very well and gives me the TB experience that I value very much. More power to your (bowing) elbows.

IMO no need for a mobile app. Your browser-based UI is just fine... In general, too much of app development is the result of a "me too" attitude rather than a need.

Honestly, it's ok. I used to use the app way more when the first one was around, but I hardly ever use it anymore. Almost all the sites I use require my browser (other than Instagram and Facebook). So, do what you gotta do. I'm sure we will have people gripe, but it's not that big of a deal. Apps cost a lot of money to develop and maintain.

I use the app when not at a laptop. Very easy and convenient for quick access. I hope things work out with a replacement.

Agreed. I don't use the mobile apps for most sites when using my phone.
