Urgent: TalkBass Mobile App Terminating

The app works better for writing messages on my old iPad 2 with iOS 9.3.5. I had problems moving the cursor and the automatic backup of the message annoyed me on that device.
There is an error message on the first page with the app, but using the menu to get to the forums it's working fine.

I have used the browser for some time, but now prefer the app again.

I think they made it very clear when they moved away from Tapatalk that they don't want to go that route again.

We just got a notice from our mobile app developer that he's pulling the plug on the servers the app needs to operate. The TB app may work for a few more days, then it will be non-operational.

We will look for a replacement, and also we will work on making a new style that's even more mobile-friendly in your mobile browser.

UPDATE: You can now get push notifications on all your mobile devices (iOS, Android, Apple Watch), and desktop browsers (Firefox, Chrome, Safari) with the Pushover App (or Pushover browser extension). Download the Pushover app, then go to your Connected Accounts page to set up

An app would be so great Paul. I remember the days and ease of the app versus pulling up the webpage, password, and trying to hit tiny little links.

The last app still works. Almost daily use on my old iPad2.
It's only the start page that gives an error message. Use the menu to navigate to your page.

No, it is no longer at the App Store, but if you have a backup on your computer (check your iTunes Mobile Apps folder) you might be able to to install it on your iPhone or iPad again.
Should still work on 64-bit devices, it does on my iPhone 6S with iOS 12.4.

I also have the Talkbass app on an old Android 4.2 tablet where it works too (and that version I downloaded somewhere from the Internet after it was officially gone). But I think the iOS version is a bit nicer (maybe because of the Android that I‘m not used to).

Which would not happen (as announced), but you can make an icon for the website on the desktop of your iPhone or iPad. It‘s not that much different from the app.
