Valveamp Bass from the ad up top ^

The SuperB has quite a variety of tones too. I will admit that due to the fact that all the pickup's coils are very close together, the tones it offers are more closely related than a bass with typical two pickp placement. That said, the neck coil by itself is a distict tone. The rear coils in series are another, parallel are another, then add in the neck coil for two more. Five different tones, again not as varied as a typical two pickup bass. This of it like five distictly different shades of the same basic color, if you will.

Hi everyone,
just a brief step in to tell you I am here following you and thank Lee for the support.

We are studying with Lee different kind of collaborations to find a one that fits everyone's needs and in any case Lee will have a role for the brand there.

In the meantime the GFJ 35" has finally arrived (only 12 remained) and they are very cool! 34" is scheduled to be ready late April. Hopefully by that time we will have new distribution there.

I would like to thank you for the continous interest and support and I promise we will send you stuff that will impress you A LOT. In the meanwhile please refer to me or Lee.

Write if any assistance of info is needed.

Thanks. Curiously we noticed a certain difference in tone between the two outer coils. Not like a true JB but pretty near. It seems to me like bassplayers are now more open to more articulated controls layout than before. At least these are some signals I am receiving.

Absolutely. In your layout above I was curious if the yellow coil is just for hum cancelling or could be tapped as part of the circuit - having yellow and blue in parallel would be a great option as well.

I'm fairly certain that there's an error in the diagram, and the top of the stacked volumes should control the yellow coil, more like this...

Ahh, when I was looking at the diagram I missed that the bottom of the concentric was shown as controlling both the blue and red - was staring at the switching controls. Thanks for the correction for my feeble brain.

Yes you're correct. my mistake in copying and pasting the dots on photoshop. I am now testing another simplyfied diagram with series/parallel/bridge coil of the first left 2 coils and then the neck one alone on the yellow volume. I'll let you know.

The bridge coil alone pretty sond like a JB.

I made a short vid of me playing the GFJ to explain the ciruitry and the various sounds but I can't post it here if nodody ask so so if anyone is intereted I can send the link privately.

I confirm that the yellow coil is part of the circuit. You can see how the circuit works now on the website related page.

Not only do I love the idea for the Super-B, but I have a similar idea for both the Fusion 5 and the new GFJ. Speaking of the GFJ, I have new pics of that bass in White, natural ash, and sunburst over Alder. All are VERY nice. I will post a few here shortly.

Yes...bring on the pics...and...so Lee...any word??? When are we gonna be able to get our hands on these?????

I just had to comment here: You should have seen the insulting PMs David Certain sent me in response to an innocent question I asked just for clarification. I would have posted his reply but the thread had already been closed and he got banned. Certain deserves what he gets. Frudua doesn't seem like a bad guy and, as others have mentioned, the language barrier is a large part of the problem. Anyway, I'm glad to see that the situation has been resolved.

I'm obviously not banned, never have been.
