yeah, haven't checked either. the look is what i'm after though, not the fabric.I don't know about the tweed used on cases and amps... but tweed fabric, in general, is made of wool, so it's not vegan.

Looove Sunshine Burgers, and they've been around forever. They used to come wrapped in clear plastic, with a plain, black and white label. And yes, they're vegan.Being vegan, I don't eat most Quorn stuff. They use egg as a binder. There's Quorn Crunch which, as far as I can tell, is just marketing since it's not made or distributed by the main Quorn company. It does not use egg, but it's also just not very good. Most(not all) MorningStar stuff also uses egg so I've mostly given up even looking at it. Boca can be ok, but it's not terribly exciting. Sunshine burgers are fantastic, and all(I think) vegan. The downside is they're pretty expensive. 3 in a pack which usually cost about $6. There was another brand too that I really liked, but I haven't seen it in a while...
Yep it counts. I'd be a vegan if it wasn't for my love of yogurt. Haven't found a soy, rice, coconut yogurt that tastes as good. The vegan cheeses have come a long way and I am using them now. Do like my egg whites or egg beaters for breakfast too.

we don't need no stinkin' numbers!
haha, well maybe...

I had the same problem, but then discovered Chia seeds!! It's not exactly the same as yogurt, but Chia "pudding" has really helped me leave dairy out of my diet.
1/2 cup Almond Milk (you could use any non-dairy type)
2 Tbsp Chia seeds (Bob's brand are the least expensive)
A little bit of your favorite sweetener
Then flavor with anything.
Takes about two hours to set. I like to heat mine, but cold is great too!
So far I've tried...
1. Chocolate, Walnut & Coconut (I use the large-flake, unsweetened kind)
2. Blueberry Coconut Almond
3. Pomegranate Seed
4. Dried Cranberries, Vanilla, Walnut
You could really use any type of fruit - pureed or whole or just cut up. I can't wait to try more![]()
sounds good, you have any sugestions with the cheese and eggs?
I like Daiya brand shreds. I am on the lookout for some soy-free sliced vegan cheese. They exist, I just haven't found them yet.
Eggs - I've seen some tofu scramble recipes that look interesting but haven't tried them. I like soy, but we try and keep it minimal as it is processed. Only use non-GMO types too.
I have been making kale/chai/banana smoothies for breakfast - sounds weird but it's delicious.
Chia seeds and some water can be used as an egg-replacer in some baking recipes. I was skeptical, but it worked great!
I would like to try a vegan eggs-Benedict if possible using a portobello as an English muffin substitute.
There are tons of great blogs out there with Facebook pages. Just search vegan or vegetarian in FB. Here's two...
