Vegetarian Club Anyone?

Meat eating caveman for many years, Veggie for last few months.
I think if I became Vegan I would starve to death, but that's just me.
I eat 'cheat meat' like 'turkey & stuffing' and 'salami', just because it tastes nice, does anyone else eat Quorn stuff?

Not sure why people are surprised when I tell them I don't eat fish, that wouldn't make me a Veggie if I did.

Always hated fish, even when I lived "Back East". Always like the "look" you get when you tell people that fish and fowl are meats.

Quorn is very good. Love the meatless balls, and make one of the roasts every Thanksgiving. The cooking bag method works great. Used many different flavoring in the bag to cook, BBQ sauce, oil & herb, cooked like pot roast with veges (which was delicious), etc. Their Chik'n Nuggets make perfect party food. Wish they would release their entire line in the U.S..

What is missing is a vege version of Little Smokies. They would go so well with the Quorn meatless balls and BBQ sauce in the crock pot for the holidays parties.

"What you do mean this chicken is meat?"

Well, what did you think you were eating...? Lol

I cant get into the Quorn products... Ive tried both the turkey burgers and the chicken nuggets, and both of them just have this oddd taste to me. I wonder if its because they dont use inner packaging, they just put the frozen bits right into the cardboard. I much prefer the Boca brands, or MorningStar Farms stuff, and the Gardein brand makes some decent fake meats.

Yes, please. Delicious stuff, but killer on the breath. (like that'll stop me!)

Being vegan, I don't eat most Quorn stuff. They use egg as a binder. There's Quorn Crunch which, as far as I can tell, is just marketing since it's not made or distributed by the main Quorn company. It does not use egg, but it's also just not very good. Most(not all) MorningStar stuff also uses egg so I've mostly given up even looking at it. Boca can be ok, but it's not terribly exciting. Sunshine burgers are fantastic, and all(I think) vegan. The downside is they're pretty expensive. 3 in a pack which usually cost about $6. There was another brand too that I really liked, but I haven't seen it in a while...

Hi everyone, I've been vegan for a bit over six years now. "Woop woop".
Just stumbled upon this topic while using the search function to get info on vegan hard cases / flight cases that fit p-basses with straplocks. Any of you got some super secret vegan info or tips on those? Would really love something old school looking, like tweed or (brown) tolex.
