yeah I got to meet vic and his brothers 2 weeks ago as well..

as far as composing goes.. I don't care if he is the worlds greatest composer or not.. I don't go to him his shows for that. I go to hear great bass playing.. and that is what I get.. If I wanted great compositions.. I would stay right here on campus in the music conservatory..

Oh yea, I saw the show last night at Stubbs BBQ and it was very cool, allot different than i expected. Bela plays a mean Banjo i must say. And Vic, holy cow the whole dueling with the sax and the banjo :p . Vic did the amazing grace right before they ended their first set, with all the layering and everything! is was a hell of a show. :( My wife went with me and she is pregnant with our second and she could only stand up an hour or so. I only got to see the first set. but at leas the baby got to hear some cool jazz/bluegrass/fusion...stuff.
Any one else go? let me know how the second set went.

Yeah, sorry about that, my webmaster played with a file he wasn't really supposed to be playing with RIGHT after I posted that and now my page is having issues... Check back in a couple of days or so, because we contacted tech support and hopefully they should be quick... (claimed 24 hour turnaround) :rolleyes:

Yep!! That was a pretty cool experience! Vic and Bela were hanging out outside their bus signing autograph's, chatting, etc... I think Vic actually said something about having a Q & A session on the stage with the whole band, but I was with some friends that didn't want to stick around...:rolleyes: Oh well, what a great show!

I have been to 3 wooten shows and after each one he has stayed around and chated with fans. HIs latest tour is the best one I have seen. Ussualy I get the treat of seeing Steve Bailey come out and JAm, Steve lives in SC. with Wooten. The Wootens are real cool in my book.

I dont think Vic has a religion. The yinyang symbol is just a symbol he has liked for a long time. Kinda his trade mark. He is a guy that trys to harness his energy for good, peace and harmony.

Why do you ask?

That is a pretty ridiculous answer IMO but that's not the point...point is he doesn't consider himself a Christian.
