Saw Victor Wooten last night here in Citrus Heights.
The show was incredible. All members of the band where in excellent form.
I must comment on Regi Wooten, what an intense guitarist.
After the show of course my wife and I got to talk with Victor, Regi, Joseph and Divinity. What a night.

I won't give anything away, but this show is awesome. On Vic's website, for this tour it states "A stage show like you've never seen".
You will not be disappointed.

Saw the show here in town as well. Regi is by all means intense. I think there are some people that are so very good, in a mad scientist sorta way....they've got so much going on in their head that sometimes the translation gets lost. He definately has his own mojo goin' on....not sure that it translates well in the funk context (IMHO). To much non-melodic content......unless you are on serious drugs....then it probably sounds like Beethoven's 5th...ha ha ha....

All in all....good strong show. Derico the drummer kills......and Joseph......well.....unreal... perfect backdrop for Vic....

When are you performing it? What is it gonna be? I remember my senior project...I did a thing for a full orchestra. 7 minutes long and I have the full conductor's score. It was ok. Not bad for being my first try at 17.

and i will be partaking in it! i will be doing so with a broken wrist, but then again nothing will stop me from doing this gig. i get a cast on tomorrow morn. i just keep thinking...who gets to open up for their idol at 21? i'm going to see them in 3.5 hours for sound check and all that...enjoy.

Im going to that show for sure. Thanks for mentioning it. IT would be a real shame to miss one of Victors shows!!!

last night was amazing. all the guys are great. the show went soooooo well. Anyone who misses this show should just not be a musician. incredible...i'd go into detail about all the little post show happenings, but i am still speechless at the moment!!!!
