Alpha Bass Players Club meeting today at 3:30 at Alpha Music - I'll have the raffle bass there for those who wanna take a look.

Not much. I lived in VA. Beach for 9 years and now living in Bridgewater, VA. It's close to Harrisonburg, a little more north of Staunton, that whole area.

Fredericksburg and formerly Winchester since 1999. Not really loving it. But I like my band and job.
Virginia Beach here. I used to live in Culpeper (I loved it there!) and I was born in Danville many years ago.
This VA Bass Player is in the studio this weekend. Working on a new CD with TigerLily (Link Removed)
Still plugging away with the new band. Other than the usual band frustrations, I'm still trying to plug away! Looking forward to the next GTG. Job wise, my company is outsourcing my group and I don't know if they have plans for me or will I be @$$ out.

I've been lucky as I've lived in Colonial Heights, Winchester, Reedville, and now Virginia Beach.

A couple of months ago, I was told by my boss that I will learn automated HVAC control (Honeywell's Tridium). I passed the certs in the classes that I went to, but I'm way in over my head.
Finals at ODU this coming week. Thank god I took a light load....
Lessons are coming along well and I'm looking forward to the extra time during the holidays to dedicate to the bass.

Lived in Va Beach for a year. Anyone remember Dave MEADOWS from Alpha? This was around '93 - '95. Short dude, real long hair. Guitar guy. Coolest of the cool. Dated his sister, too. (sooo hot)
Cool. I grew up in Mount Vernon. Then lived in Peekskill for 8 years before moving to Newport News. I gigged in NYC and the entire Tri-State area for many years!
I was just playing a gig at the Colonial Tavern Friday night. That's a decent sounding stage.
Beyond there, the Loft, and the new Capital Ale House, are there any Fredericksburg venues you'd recommend playing?
