well jason, this is what we gotHuge +1. I don't think there are 6 useable sounds in the VT that most players would want with a single bass. A smaller, 3 channel programmable VT would be perfect.

...i like the idea of being able to use an electric and upright and have different eq's for each one....
Agreed. It's perfect for your scenario. I actually don't mind the size or extra channels on the VT Deluxe that much, but the cost is a bit steep for folks like me that really don't need it. If the VT Deluxe had a blend control, then it would be REALLY attractive if you could still use the EQ to adjust your dry signal with the Blend fully off. At that point it would become a very versatile preamp/DI that didn't lock you into the simulation.well jason, this is what we gotbesides, i like the idea of being able to use an electric and upright and have different eq's for each one. i imagine they'll come out with a smaller programmable vt eventually, but i'm digging on this one. at least i will in a few days!
I am stoked indeed, for all of us.
Time to make space on my board.
Jaco only needed one setting on his VT bass.
Spend it the way god intended: watching porn.
Don't kvetch, lads and lassies. Takes time to travel cross-country. Mine will take longer - all the way to CA. Main thing is, it's coming.
I like watching this thread! I reminds me of a tradition in MN. Every year at the county fair they drain the oil out of a car and people guess how long it will run before it dies. Whoever is closest wins. Once they start the car, the crowd is silent waiting for a big explosion to happen. All that happens evey year is it rattles and makes some noise and just stops running. I am waiting to see all of the excited responses once y'all get your VTDLXE!
