VT Deluxe Talkbass group purchase?

grrr...mine's still in memphis with all the other 2nd day losers. oh well, that's what i get for waiting until the last day of the presale. not to worry...it's due on tuesday and i don't have a gig until tuesday. i'll just slap some velcro on it and get sounds with it at the gig site ;)

Gots mine, the fedex man came by at 10am, with a box for me......

Here it is with my bass tech, putting it through it's paces.... He apparently likes more drive settings ;)

No learning curve for me (I had a PBDDI), the only thing that was new, was the A/B, which the banks can be used from 1 input, I initially thought that they were independent. For all of you familiar with the VT, Same sounds, just way more flexable....

Thanks for setting this up Kesslari!

so jason just spent some time on the phone with me describing his initial impressions of it...i think the guy who can't wait to see all the used vt deluxes on sale in a month is going to be disappointed. he said it's just like the regular vt only programmable. and that makes it win in my book!

Your bass tech rocks.
Mine is a bit... dark...

And yes, this is the first time in known history (at least mine) that FedEx delivered AHEAD of their scheduled date!

Cool! (And my bass tech is a black dog, too...)

If ya would, please clue me in as to the sequence (in the signal chain) of the pedals. I'm a nOOb to the pedalboard thing (played bass a looong time but never used effects much), and I'm wondering where's the best place in the signal chain to put the compressor. (I have an EBS, also.)
