I've owned both and found that neither delivered everything I wanted, but both delivered a lot of it... If that makes sense... Kinda vague, haha.
In other words, they both got me to about 75% of what I wanted to hear, but were missing the last 25%. With the BDDI stuff (owned a standard BDDI, a programmable and an RBI) I found that the lower mids weren't present enough. With the VT I found that the upper mids were too present in the 1khz region. It's a tough call. If I had to do it again I would go with the VT, or more specifically the programmable VT.
