Wal Bass Club.

quick question - does wal truss rod mechanism work differently than fender, i.e. higher ratio for more subtle and precise adjustment, and easier/less force to turn?

Same concept as a Fender, righty tighty/lefty loosy. Way easy and no effort to turn.

That's a lot for a passive one pickup bass IMO
Agreed, that's alot for a passive single. Bass Direct had one like that sit for a year at 1600 and didn't sell until they dropped the price.

bass42. I have the same issue with my E string and use the pliers trick to squish the windings a bit. it works. When I asked the question and Caca confirmed that he had to do it too, I just started doing it that way. I use dr sunbeams on my MKI and it's the only way to get it in there.

we gotta have a massive wal picture posting frenzy to kick off part III. I've now played two gigs with my MKI but have nothing other than a sh*tty Facebook photo that makes me look fat to show it. got three gigs lined up for this weekend so hope to have some action shots to show for it.
