This video "officially" shows Flea playing the Wal we are talking about. Now you can say that you have seen 2 videos instead of one:D

PJ you can find the videos of H.A.T.E, but they can be tricky to find but been around for years. It's their side cover band, they did punk covers. You can watch Flea using his Spector and Wal with this band. He played the blue MkII well before RHCP went in to record Blood Sugar.

Hey guys,

Does anybody know the correct model of the gold tuners Paul uses for the MK II basses?

I recently got a used neck without the hardware...

Can i find them online? What about the string trees and nut? Only directly with Wal?

I never use compressors on live shows, juts for recording sessions. But you have to know how to use them or you'll kill your bass tone.

Has anyone who has ordered recently asked for anything different than the standard neck shape? I don't really remember having much of an impression of what the one I played felt like, seeing as that was in the late nineties. I just remember the tone. I've noticed that most people say it has a distinct V profile to it but you can have it custom made with a softer one. Has anyone ordered one like that recently?

My custom MKII 5 has custom string spacing and custom radius for the neck.
