Today my wife said :

'NO MORE WALS IN THIS HOUSE'

Lol !

I have room in my house for more Wals, you can store them here if it would make your wife happy!

so that's where my bass went! nice to see you on here buddy!

You'll see it again, surely. You'll probably want to compare it to your new one when you get it.

It's funny how much attention these get in a music store. Took it into Guitar Center, plugged it into an Ampeg SVT w/8x10" cab, and when the store (actually did) get a little quiet, I let it rip! A handful of loud, grinding notes, and three other people were eyeballing the head-stock. One guy asked if GC was selling it. Perhaps I should have pranked him and hung it on the GC wall. Nah, that would have been wrong. :rollno:

It's UK English - for local pick-up only...
PazzoBasso. Thanks for kind explanation:) I could have read better) though with 5% of asking prise spent on top on two-way trip from Moscow I can now easily make a local pick-up)) World is small :bassist:

Actually I plan to make a deposit at Paul in 6-8 moths for a fretless 5er. And I planned to visit them in person to agree on woods etc. if they accept visits.

Being Mick Karn guy since 1988 I finally started playing bass just several years ago. And though I withstand GAS quite well ;) still I need at least 2 Wals - 5er fretless and 4 fretted (as I am 99% fretless I do not take any other fretted option except fretted Wal).

Cheers everyone :)
Val

i did a bit but seemed that the internal electrics seemed different then the ones in the bass i have in my possession. Too many trim pots in the ones i'm finding. Apparently this bass once belonged to the bassist in "Saga" and has been in my friends hands for 10 or so years. Also wal-mart seems to have more pull in my search then the bass company ;)

edit:

should i just assume its exactly the same as this sans the low cut trim pots?
