look what I found in Station Music, Germany....
the whole story is, that I came there just to check Bergantino and Epifani cabinets. unavailable in Poland. after buying american SVT-4 PRO, I just wanted to know, how it will be with two 8 ohms cabs and full Ampeg power, bridge mode. reading a lot of opinions here at Talkbass I simply decieded to test them. opinions like: Ampeg's are to muddy, Boogie's to midrangy, Aguilars overpriced...... but Bergantino or Epifani... bla bla bla

Station Music Shop is just great! a lot of Sadowsky, Fodera, Ken Smith, Alembic, PRS, Fender, Lakland basses just hanging on the walls. and more and more..... Mesa, Ampeg, Aguilar, Epifani, Bergantino and that stuff.... incredibly huge choice of best basses and amps. four big rooms for bass only...
Mr. Lothar Walter (owner) is fantastic guy as well. He looked at me, speak with me few minutes and just leave me with words: feel free to play on everything You want. all the cabs, all the amps and all our basses.... nice

after one houre, He came to me and ask me what are my first conclusions. I said: I like Ampegs (I own one HLF aready), I like Boogies, don't like Bergantino and Epifani. don't know why, but simply don't... o, You have nice bass He said (I came there with one of my Sadowsky's), we have here around 10 of NYC and Metros even more. yeah.... I know....
I answered and here the story beginns....
- Marcin: I trully love my white vintage, 24 fret, NYC Sadowsky. the sound is huge. I have also second one. Metro, 5 string with humbuckers. great as well.
- Lothar: yeah, I know. one of best basses in the world
- M: truth. I totally agree with You Lothar, but You know.... my Holy Grail is Wal...
- L: (smiles) and said - I have one
- M: You mean, You own one? lucky You....
- L: no, I have one in the shop
- M: no way Lothar.... I check all advertisements in internet twice a week, it's impossible...!
- L: hmmm.... You maybe check, but I have... here it is - and show me Wal in the corner...
You need to see my face.... jaw on the floor. I couldn't believe that is for real. Wal. in the music shop....???? how come???
yes it was Wal. build Jan 2013, by Paul, gloss black, 5 string fretted, ebony fingerboard, gold hardware. expensive. I didn't have such huge amount of money, but I said to Lothar: hold that bass for me please. for one week. I'll be with all the money next Friday. and He said, OK. that bass is on hold for You for one week.
finally I have collected all required money. when I said to my band members, what I will do next few days, they decieded to go with me. just to be a witness of that purchase. good Guys...
1750km in one day. four of us. fantastic day....
well.... finally I am a Wal owner. pls give me the number. and wish me luck, to use that bass properly
