Wow, impressive collection.

Just curious, do you prefer MK I, II or III ?
Do you find any tonal difference between them ?

In my experience, MkIII was the most comfortable and well balanced, but there's a "classic cool" factor to the MkI and II.

Fretboard wood (ebony vs. rosewood) and overall weight, and to a lesser degree facing wood and hard lacquer or standard satin finish seem to impact the tone. The shape itself doesn't affect the tone, except that MkIII tends to be the lightest and MkII tends to be the heaviest, though it really depends on the individual pieces of wood.

So it looks like i got some decisions to make this morning. Got my choices of mock up pictures of billets for my build. i've already sent my choice, but thought i should share

man getting excited again!!!!

Extra cool.. Is this the trans blue Mk3 you mentioned a while back? For a second I thought the space was an ebony laminate down the center.. Ideas are brewing!!

i concur with what @mikezimmerman and @Caca de Kick mentioned. i do like the coolness factor of my flamed maple mk2 ;) although, i really don't have a preference on any of my Wals. I like all flavors.

One thing that is pretty minor but still others are nit picky on is the neck....there's no real way of determining the profile since it may have been spec'd out that way, but i have two Wals that has medium/hard V-shape neck and the rest has a softer v shape. personally i prefer the medium/hard v-shape neck, which my black mk1 and my greenburst mk3 has.
