Simply gorgeous!! Congrats!QUOTE="Caca de Kick, post: 18876558, member: 27957"]And now the Mk3 5 string arrived today. Paul really knocked it out of the park: birdseye maple, violet gloss, 10.00 lbs.

Oh my........
OMG!
Seriously if you are up in the Vermont area and want to give me one of those Wals for free I'm game!
Well if I were to watch one of your basses i.e. The Black Wal...think of the extra time you could spend with the kids?I'll actually be up in Vermont in a couple weeks
I'll be having kids in tow though, not basses.
There's 31 days in July, you have one on the way, looks like you need to buy 10 more pal.
Wow, impressive collection.
Just curious, do you prefer MK I, II or III ?
Do you find any tonal difference between them ?
As far as 4 string basses go, the pickup placement is different on all three bodystyles. They are furthest apart on the Mk1, closer on the Mk2, and even closer together on the Mk3.
So it looks like i got some decisions to make this morning. Got my choices of mock up pictures of billets for my build. i've already sent my choice, but thought i should share
man getting excited again!!!!

Extra cool.. Is this the trans blue Mk3 you mentioned a while back? For a second I thought the space was an ebony laminate down the center.. Ideas are brewing!!
