They are not losing anything...nothing to compensate. In their country a £ is still a £ to them.
Wal seems to do price increases about 7-9 months.

I can't believe this bass is still available! How many lefties have come here wanting a nice Wal right now.. And it's custom color, and a maple board that Paul will no longer make for us. Price is great.

So i'm again thinking of letting one of my fretless Wals go (excluding the Pro I since its no longer fretless). Not interested in shipping at the moment, so a meetup would be ideal. if you're in the MA, RI, VT, NH area hit me up.
