Yep...i do believe is said 5'er !!

Dude, thanks for the heads up, but you guessed it, I don't like red, particularly in a bass!! YUCK! And not only that, it's missing the low B string!

But keep your eyes and ears open and on the hunt - maybe we will get lucky!!! :thumbsup:

That’s it guys.... can’t take it anymore! I am buying them all... the schedua one, the walnut one, the midi one, the poly red, the one with leds, and whatever else anyone puts up in the next few days that is bound to torture me. When it rains it pours.
Ah ha! You're really @kulit17 in disguise, aren't you!?!!?!:cool::cool:;)

So I recently acquired a wal mk3 6 string (im also broke now) and saw some pics that show 4 trim pots on the back of the instrument but mine only has 2 (master vol and the pick mode thing)

Is that normal for a mk3? Year is 1996.

I might be a little late to the party, but this is the reply I got for Paul when I got my 6-string and asked him about the 2 pots instead of 4.

"All 6 string Wal’s only have 2 trim pots – the extra trims were added when the 5’s started coming out and the smaller amps had trouble with the lower frequencies. These additional trims are set on full as standard - amps have come on along way since they were brought in and when the 6’s came they weren’t included – current customers rarely adjusted them."

Please tell me you are getting sick of that Purple Heart by now...

@Nightman ANOTHER 5'er Wal for sale on FB page. The cheapest i have seen in awhile! $4500.
Its fretless but Paul WILL send you new frets for it.....even still to have a luthier install them, your WAY ahead of the game at this price.

But im sure its just too heavy for you.:roflmao::banghead::roflmao:

Right! I saw that one, but I'm not looking for another fretless. I currently have two Roscoe's and a Rob Allen.

I read the fingerboard was too thin for frets and would required a new fretted neck. Didn't catch the weight, but if it's not under 9 1/2 pounds, then I'm not interested even if it's free.
