a month ago probably - it came with a great 'step by step' story about a neck transformation - its like new from the ground up (so to speak)

yup I called dibs when Jan first posted it for sale about a month ago, but he had been busy with things and couldn't work up a sale until things settled a bit. ya that blog on this Pro was very informative.. it plays great! also the ebony board on this Pro compliments the Pro sound pretty well! believe most Pro's are RW right @Trevor if I find another Wal that is in dire need of resurrecting, a maple fretboard would be nice project.

Yes, Indian Rosewood as standard for fretted basses, densest rosewood that they had in stock for the fretless necks (lol). But then again...standard was always a relative term when it came to Wals...

It killed me As well...ever since bass central had that midi schedua 5er (although incomplete) it had my gears turning. They seem pretty special and capable of a lot of different layers and soundscapes when recording. Trust me, I am having to pull a lot of strings on this one. Taking out a loan may not be the best idea... but it will sure ease my “condition” for now as kulit17 calls it.
