Yes sir! It’s killer too! Very resonant. The neck has a hornbeam center and the maple has some a beautiful flame going on.

Easily beats the Olive Ash MK3 I had from way back.

^Same here. I love Wals. While we are waiting, I figure I can share a cool Wal photo. Credit goes to Keith Jevons who shared it with me... In the photo he is testing out his, "based off of the prototype", mk3 6 string. I love that he is wearing a shirt with a picture of his fretless mk2 5 string. Anyway....Thank you for letting me be a part of this group. I consider myself very privileged to be able to play a Wal bass.

Coming attractions: a fretted Mk. 1 (quilted/spalted maple facings with rosewood fingerboard, black headstock -face only- and black hardware) to join my fretless Mk. 1. Shipping in early December.

Needless to say, I feel like a kid waiting for Christmas.
