Pro 2’s with later mk1 headstocks (not the paddle). Is that a thing or a replacement neck? I’ve seen 2 now so I’m wondering.

I've seen a lot. My favorite one was a sunburst Pro 1E with a Custom model headstock.
Years ago, a few people said it was replacement necks, that they had issues.

Quite possible replacement necks. These Pro series wals had two rows of carbon fiber channeled into the neck underneath the FB. They were known for twisting and warping, I believe due to different rates of movement among all the various pieces of wood. There is a really cool journal of a Wal Pro neck rebuild here:

There is no way someone will pay that for a used 2014 Wal Bass. It’s a beautiful bass, but you could buy a new one for that price. Besides, $1150 for shipping!!!

Wowzers that's the highest pricing for a Pro IIE I've ever seen. They got it priced as a custom mk series. Pick attack switch seems to be a non-original replacement. Master knob isnt original and perhaps that pot was a replacement too.
