That the highest price I have seen so far for the passive Pro.
Always fancied one of them... but not at £3.8k GB (incl postage)!!!! How many times can one advert use the word, “rare”...?

An artist relation friend and Wal owner that deals with him described it to me as; it's in very rough shape and piece of fingerboard ready to break off.

ya i've seen that. this one is all mangled up. appear it lost the original PCB board. from what i can tell, it used to be a Pro IE and the electronics went bad, so it got rewired to be a passive Pro I.
Yikes!....going to assume he has had it fixed, as he still uses it live.
According to reports, he is using his new one a bit more though.

Yeah I'd think if he was at Paul's then he's probably had repairs and servicing done to it.

How in the #$% did that guy not send that bass without signature required?! I'm glad it got there safe, but holy moly if I'm reading it right that is a huge oversight.
The buyer said someone was indeed home and signed for it. I think that Sam Liston was assuming there wasn't a sig required by he way Sean described receiving it at first.
I'm glad to hear it! Man...that would have sucked to have lost that bass to a porch pirate!
It's a beautiful bass, all buffoonery from the seller aside.
