Wal Bass Club.

Zebrano.jpg

The wait is nearly over...

My collection of 3 came from too many times in the snooker club with Pete in the old days in High Wycombe. Bless him.
I think he was just looking after me in a way for the future lol
You are lucky to have spent some quality time with Pete. I spoke to Pete a couple of times on the phone and he seemed a nice guy. He used to send me photos by mail at the time of some of his creations. You know there was no internet back then and we used to discuss the sonic characteristics of different wood facings.

That facing looks awesome. Is that zebra wood?
Yes, if interested here are the complete specs:

Wal Mk2 4 String
Mk3 neck joint with Mk3 body heel
Ebony fretboard
Carbon fiber neck reinforcement
Brass nut (close string spacing)
Zebrano (Zebrawood) facings
Clear gloss body finish
Black hardware + Schaller M4S Lights
Dunlop Strap Locks

For those looking to place an order, everything listed was an upcharge.

wow that is awesome

I’m having a hard time deciding between starting a mk 2 or a mk 3 order.

My mk 3 feels perfect in every aspect.

For those with experience with a mk 2 or both, how does the mk 2 feel when playing sitting down and how does it hang when using a strap?

4 or 5 string?

Either way, sitting down, the short lower horn of a Mk2 really digs into your thigh.
