I was thinking about getting lighter tuners for my Mk1. Does anyone know which ones to get?

Someone correct me if I'm wrong, but the type of tuners that m Mk I uses are Schaller M4S. Theses type of tuners are screwless but utilizes two anchors that sit in two pockets.

If you want to change out your tuners, you would need to mod it and use screws for whatever tuners has the same tuner diameter .... This though may devalue your Mk I if you plan on reselling it though.

Check out this thread that I put picks in

Hello everyone! Well, I figured today was a good day to bump this thread with some photos. I've owned this MkI since 2009 if I remember correctly. I may be mistaken, but I don't think there are a ton of these olive ash topped basses floating around. The bass is off to a good shop here locally, as the input jack has finally given up the ghost. I didn't want to risk making anything worse! Enjoy :)

Thanks for the comments. It looks like we are seeing a whole rash of new pics coming through, djaxup's pictures are pretty awesome as well!

I wrote Paul regarding the recommended pickup pole height. Here's the word right from the horses mouth:

"The pickup heights are measured whilst holding down the E and G strings at the 21fret. The distance between the top of the pickup pole piece and the bottom of the string should be 5.5mm on the E string and 5mm on the G string approx."

I hope this helps those who aren't sure!
