Dude...as not to scare potential buyers away from your evilBay ad. I would upload a batch of new pics to that ad.
Not sure if you took the "blue towel" pics, but if you didnt, its a red flag in the evilBay world when 2 or more poeple are advertising using the same pictures.
Personally i think its even lazy in TB world here when someone decides that a purchase "wasnt for them" and then decides to use the previous for sale thread.
I took several new pics and posted them on ebay. If anyone lives near madison wisconsin and wants to come see for themselves. I would be more than happy to do so. I did use the front and back pics that the bass connection sent me, because they are good pics, but I also took 7 other pics on my own. Anyone who is questioning me, needs to understand that I only trying to sell my bass. I am gonna take some new pics tomorrow, with a newspaper showing the date, since that seems to be the only way of proving that I am in fact the owner.
I don't what the bass connections deal is. I have sent them a message to update their site, no response.
The website states the shop's closed and that they're on holiday from Aug. 7th. The site was last updated Aug. 4th. How long ago did you purchase the Wal, and who did you contact / deal with at the shop? Using old pictures can indeed cause inconvenient misunderstandings one could do without when trying to sell expensive gear. Good idea to shoot new ones with some kind of undisputed proof of ownership. That should settle it.

As far who I dealt with at the bass connection, I bought the wal from Edwin Van Huik. He sold it to me, shipped it, I can even send you a pic of the box it came in with the bass connections name all over it. Please back off from these ****ed up allegations. It is extremely offensive and it is really really pissing me off. I have perfect feedback on talkbass and ebay.

while i sit and wait till I get home - just curious what type of strings people use on there fretless Wal: whether it be brand, types or whatever.
Don't have a fretless Wal (yet), but in my fretless StingRays I like the EB Group III flatwounds better than the EB Super Slinky's I've on my other basses. The tension of the EB Group III is not completely different than that of the EB Super Slinky's.
IMO flats are easier to play on a fretless, much less noise, and easier on the fingers when doing slides and vibratos. Also, they don't leave marks on the fretboard. And you can get lower action and thus more "mwah".
BTW, I generally hate flats on fretted basses (except on the Lakland Jerry Scheff, sounds pretty darn cool there...)

Ok, so I was misinformed. I never meant to accuse anyone, I just wanted to point out this was confusing, since you initially used the pictures from the store's website, and the store owner supposedly claimed the bass was still in the shop.

No worries man! Just got pretty frustrated. I am happy that people are looking out! If I was a scammer, tracks would have been stuck in the mud. Good looking out guys. I shouldn't have used the pics that they sent me. In my defense, they are some good looking pics! No hard feelings here. I am over it! All I need, is for someone to buy it, and appreciate it! It is an incredible bass! I just prefer 24 frets. I had never tried a wal before, so I saw this one, and decided to give it a try. Glad I did! These basses are something special! The tone is so middy and balanced, and articulate! I love it!
Played her a bit and I am very impressed. Albeit it needs a good setup and a nice set of flats, it sounds very distinct! Still would like to hear some more feedback on strings from current Wal owners, but the EB III does sound intriguing to try.
Oli, i'd have to partially agree on you about the flats on fretted but my exception would be on P basses
