Wal Bass Club.

In that case, maybe just different strings? Or probably the neck is setup different. A slight truss rod adjustment can make a big difference. Also I think the pickup spacing of an mk2 is the same as an mk1? Not sure about that.
From past practices, what did you expect? A 3k+ "flip" could could be more of a "nudge" to sell than hand placement.
Maybe another car is in the works? ;-)

I think he is saying that that bass sold on eBay for 7500 pounds and is getting flipped for $15k
Wrong! Man, you guys get very anxious and vindictive! Many people were Pming me when I had purchased it almost 3 weeks ago begging for the sale price. After shipping, taxes, bank wire fee, and FedEx duties, I will reveal exactly what I paid and that was $12,768.00

Looking to trade this Mk3 with a solid ash body and a sunburst finish. Really looking to trade for a 6 String Wal if it’s out there.

Very sad to hear. Back in the early days of YouTube, he had some of the first Wal bass videos you could find. I remember looking for Wal videos with that 80s geddy tone I was obsessed with, and being blindsided by the brutality of the tone of his Wal in his videos. I remember he had one video of him playing the wal, keyboards, and singing; he had his keyboard and mic setup in like a random empty classroom or something like that. Pretty sure he was wearing a beanie cap and some shades as well. It was such an awesome song/video and I can’t find it on YouTube anymore, haven’t seen it in probably a decade now. I wish I’d known he was here on talkbass I would have loved to have asked him about that track, and his mk3 as well, amongst many other things. Glad to know he had appreciation amongst fellow the fellow players here. May he Rest In Peace.
