Picked up a new to me 4x12 cab a few weeks ago; its maiden voyage for a full weekend of gigs. The basses of course sound glorious thru it.

Looks great! This is a very very slim category of buyer though! Weight not listed in the details, and no cavity sticker picture, they should know better than that for Wal customers.
Yep, used that amp with GK 4x10 and 1x15 for 5 years.

Really nice top that stained finish. Too bad they put an overdrive on all the sounds. Doesn’t sound good to me. Also to me a Wal doesn’t sound like a Stingray.

Same pattern as other in the past: user joins as a supporting member the day the listing goes up, no prior activity, one crappy low res photo, asking half the going market price, etc.
Would encourage everyone to report this as the mods still have not taken this down. Looks like some folks have PM'ed the OP, hopefully to troll him.

Quick question. Can a Mark 2 owner confirm the pickup spacing for me? I have them as being from centre of the 12th fret to the centre of the front pickup, 309mm, and for the same measurement for the rear pickup, 386mm.
For those of you interested, I am building a ‘Wal-ish’ type bass, with an active thread over on Basschat (Building a Wal....ish) and some YouTube videos showing ongoing concept work. (Links in that thread).
And yes, by the way, I do own a Wal Mark 1. Seen here next to the ‘Wal-ish’.
Problem is I prefer the body shape of a Mark 2/Fender, but have no likely possibility of getting one due to lack on secondhand market and long wait time for an order with Wal. Hence building a ‘Wal-ish’.
Would anyone with a Mark 2 be kind enough to confirm or refute my extrapolated measurements? Happy to have private conversation as opposed to public discussion.
