Wal Bass Club.

Just shy of 3 years in the making.

I have to say the packing job is outstanding and everything met if not exceeded expectations.

Nice use of Polyiso foam board to pad the flight case and add more insulation. The flight case comes wrapped in a few layers of foam sheet with tape that is easy to peel off:

Nice job securing the headstock. That ain't goin' nowhere! Only way to improve would be to add a plastic fret guard eliminate any possibility of causing an impression from the strings. Having one with the Wal logo on it would be an extra cool touch.

Quilt-astic. Rosewood has some nice variation too. In hindsight I would have gone dot-less. Many things including personal taste changes in 3 years.

Looks great! My original spec when I joined the wait list isn't the same as what I want now. I sent Paul one change a year ago and he graciously replied, but is it best to hold off on all the change notes until you get contacted when your turn has come?

That is an absolute beauty!!! I actually saw it in real life when I was at the workshop a few weeks ago. The finish is unreal. Congratulations!
