What did you put into it? Seems like quite a while.

I had a custom job. Camphor Burl and Walnut with a 3a Birdseye maple neck and fretboard. Added a pearloid binder. Just came in.

Hoping the Warmoth faithful can help me out here. I'm planning a '70s neck build with maple as the neck wood, rosewood or the 'board, pearlioid blocks and binding. The question is....cream or ivroid for the binding? Unfortunately, the Warmoth site doesn't offer a hi-res/up-close, detailed side-by-side, and when contacting Warmoth, they didn't really have much to offer in the way of pics either (in fact, they didn't have anything to offer). I'm wondering if anyone has both where you can post a side by side? I'll also take any pics of individual necks that match the specs above. Appreciate any help that you can offer.

Recently completed. I call it a “51 ASAT”. Pickup is a Lindy Fralin split P, bridge is a Fender American Standard string through, tuners are Gotoh res-o-lite. Neck is a precision profile quartersawn roasted with graphite rods, finished in tru oil. Body is a t-bass shape with a 51 pbass rout, dyed with amber transtint and finished with tru oil.
