Saturday afternoon I picked up my fourth Warmoth (another Jazz) from my tech and here it is: Candy Red Alder body, Maple neck with blocked Ebony board and matching headstock/vintage tint, Hipshot tuners and bridge, and Nordstrand Big Singles run passive set up as a split stacker (V-T for each pickup).
I got the neck with the new "slimmer" profile being offered and it felt great! Like I was told, it's not a drastic change (it doesn't feel like a Geddy i.e.) but it is definitely noticeable against their standard profile and I really like the way it came out. I never had a problem with the original shape, but going forward I'll get this from now on.
I took it out untried to a gig that night and it was awesome. I had never played them and only knew what I read - I must say those Nordy's sounded killer (check the Big Singles thread). I strung it with DR flats and the tone was just huge - room filling and defined.
The bass came out exactly as I pictured it and my tech did (another) great job getting it together and setting it up. If you're in New York City see Jeremy over at Rudy's - he's been the meister for all my basses going on 10 years and he does amazing work.
Once again, Warmoth's fit and finish was stellar. Along with the other's, I'll be keeping this beauty for a long long time.

For those of you that custom ordered bodies, how long did it take you to get your order? I was told 2 months but im hoping they give a longer time estimate on purpose. lol

The neck and body shipped just over 8 weeks after I ordered. The salesman told me 8 to10. When it was 7 weeks in I asked how it was going and what was the projected date. He told me it was in paint and I should get it in 2-3 weeks. It shipped a little over a week later.
Part of my wait time was for the blocks - I was told they don't have a dedicated CNC for that so they have to make a "hole" in the scheduling to do it. Seeing as it did all come together as predicted I would say that was a pretty accurate estimate. Clearly they have a backlog, including doing custom work for other builders.
Having said all that, I can only add it was well worth the wait. Their work is of the highest quality throughout.

After putting mine together and finding out how perfect of a job they do, I was actually surprised the turn around was that quick. Its worth the wait for sure.
I did get a custom neck and that took 6 weeks, but the body I ordered was from the gallery and that was a hair over 3 weeks.

I got my Padouk/Pau Ferro neck 2 days shy of a month from placing the order.
To be fair though, it was probably an easy order. No finish, no frets, and the fingerboard was from the gallery instead of them cutting a fresh one.
No comment on bodies though.

Thanks for the responses guys. After spending a decent chunk of money on my first custom body im just a tad excited about getting my order. Im about ready to put in my order for a neck as well which will only add to the suspense for me. lol

Does warmoth even do bodies like this , cuz the pocket has no warmoth stamp.

Thats def not a standard body from warmoth with that control cavity routing. They may have at some point not stamped their bodies though. That and they do some custom stuff so its hard to say. Probably just a warmoth neck. I guess warmoth would have to chime in, wheres wylie (sp?)? lol

I thought the control cavity was wrong , I held back on biddding , the neck pocket looked way wrong and someone scratched numbers into the neck.
Yeah, doesnt look right to me either. Honestly, its probably some guy who assumed it was a warmoth bass just because the neck was warmoth. Thats seems pretty common with anything (not just instruments). If one part has a brand name and the owner doesnt have the knowledge base they assume what things are.
