Another thing in regard to my neck dilema, idk what fret size to get. Thats never been a thought since ive just used whatever the basses neck had.
I prefer the small vintage size in stainless SS6230)
I got my body and neck today and the Wenge is stunning and has some nice color in the grain , also much lighter than expected so I don't think I will have the neck dive issues with the SG body which is also a beauty . It's 99.9% complete as well I only need to round over the nut sides but it's perfect !

Yeah, i want SS but i dont know what a good average size is really. That and th SS sizes being different than the nickel sizes dosnt help.

I don't have a scale so I don't know the exact weight, but if I were to make an educated guess I'd say it's on the lighter side of 7-8lbs. I'll see if I can borrow a buddies scale this weekend.

What wood is the body made of?
I was told it was swamp ash i did not buy it new. I cant remember how much it weighs I need to check the neck pocket.
I have 2 warmoth P basses ,both with 62' reissue pickups and tort guard and i believe both are swamp ash.
Thats why i gotta sell one, there great but 2 basses that are the same besides color is not filling all the voids i need of tone.

I've bought several guitar (gasp!) bodies but never any bass ones over the years. They all seem to be gone out of the showcase before I make up my mind. LOL!

Balances better on a strap, on my lap it is a bit neck heavy but not to the point of neck dive...ultralite tuners would fix it easy.
