You've had this bass for how long? a week? That's a killer bass with a genuine Fender replacement neck. Why are you selling so fast?

I'd kill for a carved dinky p routed for two humbuckers and the standard warmoth neck/head.

Did someone say Dinky P with 2 Hum's? Mine however has a Modulus V/J neck with a chechen board no fret dots.

I have spoken to Warmoth a couple of times since I started buying their great gear. They have told me on a couple of occassions that they do not make my bass! Mine is a carved dinky p, but that is not a top. It is all 1 piece white korina!

Yesterday the Brown Truck dropped off the new body and neck I ordered 2 months ago. Wow. Just Wow!:hyper:

Next week I'll drop it off at my tech's for a G&P and assembly.

It's an Alder Jazz body with rear route and set up for a pair of Big Singles. The neck is Maple with Ebony fingerboard and Vintage Tint, blocks (no binding) and the newly offered Slim profile. It's all shot with an amazing Candy Apple metallic finish (matching headstock). The quality or the parts and finish is absolutely first rate!! This will be my fourth Warmoth and I am loving it.

I should have it up and running in a couple of weeks. Pics to follow!:D

To all respected Warmoth owners,

I'm having this urge to build my own bass, in this case Warmoth body and neck. Do you guys think I can put all the parts together all by myself? How difficult/easy it will be?
Forget about local tech or luthier, coz there's none that I know around here.
The thing is, i have all the specs that i want already and been learning the Warmoth website, but haven't got a gut to pull the trigger..

Thanks

Super easy , especially if they install and cut the nut . I have several Warmoth I built and the only thing I've ever had to do was file down the fret ends ( a few swipes with a fine grit sanding block) . They are cut and filed nicely already but I prefer a little more rounded over on the ends so you don't feel it as much . This is a personal preference and may not bother anyone . I ordered yet another one , Mahogany SG with Wenge/ ebony Neck . :) I won the Ken Smith p/j set on the 'bay and going with a natural Tru-oil finish . I'm also going with this newfangled Babicz bridge . The body and neck arrive Tuesday :bassist:

Thanks Fretno and congratz for the Ken Smith,

I might start ordering the parts soon, the urge just got bigger..lol..
I'm planning to drop a Nordy big singles pup, which route will fit 'em? (barts soap bar, emg soap bar or what) will they custom the route? Coz i don't see Nordy big singles pup route on the pickups route section.
Last thing, how do you adjust the fret leveling? Is it a big deal?

Thanks
