30 or 32 inch? I suggest finding a similar bass on SW using their filters, and see what case they recommend for it.Hello - I need some help.
I have a Warmoth short scale P bass and I need a good case - and help please.

I’ve read that the Gator GC-ELEC-XL Deluxe ABS Molded Case for Extra Long Baritone Guitar case works for short scale basses but I have not yet tried one myself. I have medium and short scale. Several of the Gator cases look like they’ll work fine for shorter basses, just giving you some empty space above the headstock but keeping the body locked in place.Hello - I need some help.

Weird. I’ve never made a short scale so was unaware of this. I guess they have a bunch of the Schaller BML tuners they need to clear out. Also on the topic, I hate that Warmoth won’t drill “standard” tuning peg holes on their medium and short scale necks. Not only that, but you have to PAY THEM AN EXTRA $15 to drill no holes at all! And then pay a luthier to drill holes for you.![]()
The two Warmoths I’ve built and still own I used the Fender lightweight tuners with the little mounting pegs Warmoth drills for but now I want to build another using Hipshot lollipop tuners so I just want normal peg holes drilled.Weird. The hack is to settle for standard holes and buy a reamer to enlarge the diameter to that of your intended tuner dimension. Also on the topic, I hate that Warmoth won’t drill “standard” tuning peg holes on their medium and short scale necks. Yes, but then you still have the extra holes for the BML mounting pegs. The hack is to settle for standard holes and buy a reamer to enlarge the diameter to that of your intended tuner dimension.
It's a numbskull way to operate the way Warmoth does, if you intend to provide customer service. However, the nickle-and-dime business model is prevailant because it is profitable.
I know it's not answering your question but damn I really want one of these. Lovely bass! The playability and timbre of a medium-scale P must be unreal. I have a 32" J from Warmoth (for which I just use a regular gig-bag, not a special case) and spend all my time on the neck pickup despite normally being a both- or bridge pickup player. I love LPB but I think I'd probs do Sherwood green metallic satin as a first-choice.Hello - I need some help.
