Here's my 32" J/P hybrid. Alder body, padouk/ebony neck, Badass II, Duncan vintage P, Hipshot tuners.

Eiichi at http://www.shuriyaguitarcraft.com/ did the custom work on the headstock and put everything together for me. I'm still considering asking him to shave the neck down a little bit, as it's a bit chunky for my taste.

Yes, HULK will be a really cool green monster..! :D When buying from the Warmoth site it's always a bit of a risk because how will it look when I get it? Especially with a radical color like this one, but I must say that I'm amazed..!!!

To pickguard, or not to pickguard - that is the question... For me personally I prefer the pickguard. IMHO a pick guard just belong on a JAZZ bass, and also the pickguard help to integrate the neck better visually. The black binding and blocks on the neck just blend in better with the body -in my opinion- when there is a matching pickguard like in this case. One can argue that it's dumb to hide the beautiful finish behind a piece of colored plastic, and I respect that argument. But for me it's more the synergy made up of the sum of the parts than to make individual parts shine for themselves...
Man, I totally love your warmoths, the lacewood is simply perfect, and the Hulk looks the part. I wish I had the money. I think it's time to break my back to get there, my Jag set me a good 900 euros back, and that's like three whole months worth of food, haha.

i'll take a number. just finished my Warmoth build this weekend.

- 2012 Fender maple neck
- Lollar pickups
- Fender hardware
- Leo Quann Badass III bridge

- Switchcraft jack

I couldn't be happier with it. The Lollar pickups sound phenomenal. I'm considering putting a set in my other Fender MIA P.

SHE IS HOME!!!:hyper:

Gecko Medium 5
Swamp Ash/Trans Blue
Wenge/Ebony with 6150 frets
SGD ND3 passive pickups

Larry Smoak at Wooden Wizard guitars did the complete assembly! The neck screws are stainless steel with stainless screw inserts, Chuck Mangan strings, David Schwab at SGD Lutherie made the pickups for me and no words can explain how great these pickups sound!! It rattles the HOUSE on low volume! Very clear and punchy pickups to say the least!! Just exactly what I wanted in tone!! Larry lightly sanded the neck and board and lightly coated it with Lemon oil. High grade wiring was used for the pickups along with 500K pots!
