It is gorgeous. Ice blue metallic is cool. How's the B string on that baby?
Well, I don't know if this counts, but I'm going to talk about it anyway. I now have a FrankenJazz with a Warmoth neck. The bass is/was an '86 squire jazz that had a neck that any decent skateboarder could use for a half pipe. The body sat around for a few years and I finally bought one of the unlined fretless Teak/Ebony necks from Warmoth. I purchased some black chrome tuners here on TB, installed them and have been setting the action for the past couple of days. I've finally have it dialed in and am very satisfied with the results.![]()
I'll try an post a picture later.
Right on man - I don't know about anybody else here, but I'm looking forward to seeing it for one...
...I had promised myself NOT to use the money for another Warmoth build.... But then -somehow- this body and neck just jumped into the shopping basket on the Warmoth website... Damn..!
I have ordered a black pick guard, so basically it will be like in the first picture. I will go with black hardware for this one and maybe Fralin pick up's...
