Anyone have an opinion about The Messenger basses? They look interesting to me, but I really can't find any information (or better yet, sound/video).

Can anybody tell me anything about the older Warriors (like the 96/97 era)? I noticed that many around that time seem to have Duncan pickups and preamps. Body shape is a bit more, I guess pointy for lack of a better way to describe. How do they feel and sound? What is the build quality like from that era?
Well after years of looking and wanting a warrior bass, I was able to get a great deal on a brand new Warrior Dran Michael Private Reserved Buckeye Burl beauty. I can't wait to get it in a few days. Can I officially become a member of this group.

Here is my current Warrior and the one JD is building me. It will be Rosewood top, ebony Fretboard and swamp ash body. These are the best bass I've ever played. The Buckeye Burl is the one I just got from Warrior Dealer last week.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking. Going to eventually go with Gold on the first one. JD is a killer guy to work with.

Has anyone ever had the Warrior soft case then offer for their basses? I have the option of their hardcase or their soft case.
That is beautiful brother. If it's anything like the one I just got from Warrior it will blow you away. I've absolutely never had anything come close to the build and tone of mine.
I just received the finished pictures of my 2nd new Warrior from JD today. He will be shipping it out in the morning. It turned out better than I imagined. JD said this one has some serious Low end and punch.
I've owned other very high end Boutique basses but this Buckeye Burl fit me perfectly in tone and playability. So much so I sold my other basses and ordered another after talking to JD personally and telling him what I was looking for. He said this would be the perfect compliment to my other. Simply works of art. The B string on this blows me away.
It's actually a Reunion Blues Warrior embroided case. I use soft cases more than I do hard cases.
Get there HSC they're awesome!! Although the soft with the Warrior embroider logo is pretty nice. The HSC interior should be purple this way you'll know it's the good ones!! My 2 cents!
