Does that also disable the "sparkle" circuit? Because I removed the sparkle circuit from mine, and the tone improved significantly for my tastes. Seemed to really open the sound up and make it bigger without losing any clarity.

Bass is finished. Just got the pics from JD. Check this thing out. I pick her up on tuesday.

Just picked up the bass from JD yesterday. HOLY. CRAP. Thing sounds exactly like the clip from honest abe. Absolutely perfect bass. Sounds and feels incredible. Best bass I've ever picked up.


Here are a couple quick pics I took with my phone yesterday at the hotel room. I'll get some better photos up when I get my hands on something better than my cell phone.

I finally got to own another warrior bass. I acquired a 2011 Warrior Dran Michael NT6. I had owned 2 warrior basses in the past, but this is by far the best sounding warrior I had ever owned. The sound is clear and not muddy, just perfectly balance. I believed since JD did some changes on the Preamp since 2010 it gave a much better sound on their basses. This bass can sing. The only wish I would had wanted, for this bass to be a 5 stringer instead of a 6 stringer, since I hardly use the C string but its all good.

I just talked to JD and he has some changes for 2011.

- He just got a new preamp (2 weeks ago) that has a little more bottom.
- He's also going to start putting a finish on all maple fretboards (long overdue!).
- He's going to start sheilding all electronic cavities again.

Might be time for another custom build if I can't talk Otto out of that 6. ;)
