Warwick Fortress Footmen, unite!

I would refinish it if I were you. Even in sparkly condition, a Fortress MM 4 would command less than a grand in price. Give this victim of slap abuse a nice refinish and its resale price will stay about the same. That's some sexy flame maple!
Oh and has anybody else seen this?!?!? Could Warwick be responding to renewed interest in the Fortress? These are new bodies, not the old stock maple ones...

I've played the new Fortress, both 4 and 5 string - its absolutely incredible, and the Nordstrand pickups simply push it over the top! Fit and finish are better than ever - current Warwick quality sets the bar, IMO. I will soon have one on order!
Thanks! It's been fun so far. I wish I could get all black hardware for it or even new gold hardware. I just don't wanna put a ton of money into it.
Am I mistaken or is the hardware more available now that Warwick has their US custom shop? (I've been out of the loop on such matters)
Can anyone send me a few pics of the control cavity in their Masterman? I am having trouble rewiring it 
Warwick Fortress Masterman project complete! My good friend is gonna take it off my hands. He is very talented and has never had a bass worthy of his ability.
This bass sounds so funky! Sweet riffs just came right out when I started playing. It was awesome.

Agreed dude. It's magical wish I could keep it, but my Marco bass is making me happy for the moment.
I do hope to have a Warwick in the stable again. Maybe another FNA or a $$.

Hey Group.....Im looking for a German Fortress, prefer 5 string and the P- Pickup arrangement in the front. Does anyone have the details of the model that I am describing?
I don't believe there are any 5-string Fortresses with a split P pickup. The 5-string fortresses either had single-coil jazz pickups, or the "twin jazz" pickup (in the case of the master man). There may also have been a couple 5-string Flashbacks. But the P/J configuration was only used for 4-strings.
