Does anyone know if the Warwick Pro Fet IV can handle 2ohms?
According to the amp manual found at http://www.warwick.de/tpl/default/media/service/amp_eng.pdf it gives 400 watts @ 4 ohms. I don't think it goes down to 2 ohms, otherwise it would read in the manual.
Well.. Then I have to exchange my 4 ohm SWR goliath jr. with two 8 oms cabs instead of just adding another one... Thanks anyway. If anyone has heard anything else please give me a hint!
I've heard all warwicks can do it from my local retailer/also teacher.
Best to ask Warwick themselves though if no-one knows for sure.
A mail responce from Warwick said it would go to mute if the impedance was 2 ohm. Minimun is 4 ohms then! Official!
