Thank you very much for the fast reply Warwick! I will be first in line to pick up a 30 3/4" natural corvette. You guys have some of the fastest customer service I have seen.

This particular bass is very exciting, as there are very few short scales in it's price and quality range. It seems like most short scales are either sub $200 basic basses, or over $2000 custom basses. Also most of the short scales that are under $2000 aim to have a vintage tone, such as the Mustang or EB-0. While that is a likeable tone, I very much prefer a modern Warwick sound.

Thanks for the message and kind words newworldman86! Jay is with US Music, our distributor in the US, and does a great job of getting the details quickly when an inquiry is requested. We are at your service!

The Rockbass Corvette Short-scale is very exciting, indeed! Please keep us posted...Thanks again!

zsahadak - We did a complete overhaul on the Rockbass line, and began to be distributed last year. They all feature 2-piece bodies (not multi-laminate) made from classical tonewoods such as Ash, Alder, Maple, Rosewood, and Tigerstripe Ebony. The necks are 3-piece maple with Ekanga veneer stringers, and they feature the same MEC Pickups and hardware as found on German-made basses....the 2-piece 3d bridge, Warwick Machine Heads, and Security Strap locks. They have the quick access control cover and truss rod cover, Just-a-Nut III, and are topped off by the W on the headstock. They are made in China, under the strict supervision and quality control of Warwick Germany. We spent a lot of time and focus to make sure the new line was upgraded in every way...they are great instruments and have received excellent reviews. They are leagues ahead of the old Rockbass line, and besides the upgrades - quality control has been a big part of that. Please let me know if you've got any questions or if there is anything I can help you with. Thanks!
