Halfway through trimming with a pattern bit
The 1/4" hard bevel is done:
Pickup cavities routed:
Minor adjustment to the pickguards will be required, the bridge pickup ended up about 1/8" closer to the neck than originally planned.

Everything aligned and hot-glued into place in preparation for drilling
The bridge mount has been drilled and tapped for 6/32 screws, and the string-through holes drilled out. And I've routed the cavities for the push-button panels.

A few pleasant moments with hand tools and the belly carve is done
Added the treble side rout for the pressure triggers wiring

Pressure Sensitive Resistors (PSRs) which will serve as drum triggers or keys depending on the settings
Finishing up the body... Little shelf for the slider pot (soft-pot)

Dude the Kaos Pad and the MIDI drum triggers?! Count me in! I was kinda sad when those Ibanez Kaos Pad instruments didn’t take off. I wouldn’t know what to do with a Kaos pad, but I still though they were cool!

More of a MIDI pad than a Kaos pad -- It will be sending MIDI commands to a processor similar to the one I did for the Outlaw. I'll probably just have a minimal set by the deadline; let me know what your favorite Kaos pad setups are.

Not gonna lie, even though I've had my Kaoss Pad for nearly a year now, I have not messed with it enough to figure out what I enjoy the most out of it. For bass, it's probably the loop function that they demo'd on the video for the Ibanez with the "built in" pad. Lots of fun skipping around the loop. I'd imagine you could hear some of the effects better on the higher registers of a guitar than a bass like what you have set up here. Can't wait to see the finished project!
