I will not push you for the name of this mysterious Metallica record that existed before kill em all, because it does not exist. You are talking absolute garbage. Your teenage brain, seething mass of hormones that it is, has gotten a little over excited and made you look like a complete and utter fool. However, we were all teenagers once who thought we knew it all, so don't feel too disheartened.

If I were you, I'd get back on my skateboard and go down to the park for sone fresh air.

Do not try and paint yourself as some sort of expert on anything until you have learned the subtle art of humility , i.e. backing down when you know you are wrong or conceding that actually there are other people that know what they are talking about.

The points you have tried to make have become lost in some bizarre, outer limits style miasma of chat that makes no sense at all.

Korn are the only band you can think of with a 'dominant' bass sound? Oh deary me...

Listen to some Wolfgang Parker (who's a bassist AND lead singer), or Triggerfinger (which has a pretty dominant bass sound).

In many places, there's a real shortage and bands are screaming for bass players.
Bassists aren't underappreciated. I just think you are.

Yea man you can't get to upset about this. I am one of three bassists that I know and I have 11 plus guitarists friends, I get a bunch of crap from them all the time for being a bass player and not a "real" guitarist. But you can't let it get to you, we are an important part of the band that like it or not, the guitarists rely on to know the beat of the song. I play at my church and we're currently searching for a drummer so I have to keep the beat of the entire song all alone. So while we might not get the most famous, we're still one of the most important parts of the band.

Listen to some funk, ska, reggae, hip-hop, blues or jazz, and you'll realise that bass is not always in the background, but is even sometimes one of the "dominating" instrument.

I listen to Bob Marley a lot. Hip hop uses bass machines, not a bassist.

I actually played guitar before picking up the Bass - but i'm happy with the choice made.
As far as the bass player's name being mysterious - if you have good chops and can play like there is no tomorrow, they will know your name - trust me on that one :)

That's where the temporary gym teacher from my school is from. She came to the US through a teacher exchange program. Her name is Ms.Adams. Another teacher from my school is also from Australia, but he's permanent. He never said where he's from though. His name is Mr. Steven Charles, but every one calls him either Mr.Charles or Charles.

Can't. Sold my board to buy a bass. Korn is the only band that I can think of off the top of my head that has a dominant bass. I'm sure there are a couple of bands locked in side my faulty memory, but I don't think they're coming out any time soon.
