I agree with what was said about you taking all these posts in stride....... If you can handle that, then you're alright with me, regardless of your recreational activities.
Everybody is different, so if that's who you are and you don't back down from it, then I respect that, even if I don't agree with your behavior in your OP.

I knew him coming to my show was bad news. First he lies about being on the guest list because he's too cheap to pay the cover, and then he goes and steals my totally Metal stage moves.
That first post can work as a blueprint for what not to do in life.
Don't expect everything to be the way you expect it to be.
Don't complain when it isn't -- it just makes it worse.
Don't brag that you were intolerant -- it makes you look worse.
Don't tell people how to do their job because it benefits you. Roll with it.
Don't brag about getting high -- it makes you look immature and unprofessional.
Don't say "maybe" if you mean no. You're just asking to be harassed more sternly.
Don't think you're better than others because you do something the way YOU think it should be done.
Don't put people off because in the real world, people who get along can help each other.

Sadly, people like this are why metal is not, and will not, be taken seriously by the mainstream. It is thought of as a joke because most of the guys in bands are a joke.

Your right, Lamb of God, Slayer, MegaDeath, Mastodon.. Their all Joke bands, their show's comedy's, not real performances. And the 30 thousand people at Heavy MTL this year to see them, Joke fans, their because we are loser's with no real understanding of music.. and Strapping Young Lad? Townsend did it because it was easy and funny to him, it required no real work, It was just Metal right?

I like this post. I'll address each one individually.
I expect that if I'm booked to play, I play. There were people expecting to see us that night. If that's asking too much, I guess I'm a diva and our fans are needy.
There's a huge difference between complaining and sticking up for yourself. When we found out about it I didn't cry about it. I drank more, rocked out to the band playing, and got some smoochies from a chick...that actually kinda makes me the man.

I meant maybe, if I had no intent of playing I'd be wrong. If the night went smoother and I was up to it, I would have been playing Sabbath. I was willing to get past wanting to punch that dude in the face to get my Geezer on.
I'm guessing this one is in reference to the other bass player and I'm done beating a dead horse.
In the real world, there's A LOT of people that need to get some sense slapped into them. Yes, this includes me sometimes. I'm not gonna pretend to be cool with someone I'd rather see beaten, because that's even worse than telling them to piss off.

True Dat.... It's the music of 14 year old boys and adults that act like them. As can be see in the first post. I think it's a pretty uphill battle to try and get people to take you seriously when you insist that you be childish, insulting and full of yourself. All while bragging about making stupid life choices.
Sure there may be the odd metal tune that isn't half bad but if as an adult I was going to make a career out of music I'd likely try to perform to the intelligence of people my own age and not obsessivly aim everything directly at impressing pre teens that don't know what good sounds like.
Metal is about selling an image, not music.
