I've got another wierd crowd interaction from the same venue:
Around the same time, around '97 or '98, I went to this same venue to see "who was playing" - as one of my favorite local guitarslingers often played or sat in with the various jam/funk bands that used to play there often at the time.
Well, there was no band that night, and I found the stage actually was actually folded back up into the wall, which conveniently landed more floor-space. Since the place was fairly crowded, and my younger cousin was there working as a bar-back, I decided to just grab a beer before heading out. Being an avid people watcher, I notice these 2 "local" bearded (before they were in-style) and longish-haired "gentlemen" having a fairly heated but under control conversation. They finally seem to agree to disagree or something like that and eventually separated... In about another minute or so, a "local" 40-50 year old woman approaches one of the aforementioned men and starts yelling while waving her finger in his face: "well you motha****er...!!!"
At that instant, the two men reconvene with fists, and THE ENTIRE BAR erupts into a bar melee! Fists, feet, chairs... Bottles being hurled randomly at anybody and everybody. I ran behind the bar to hide with the bartender, "Georgine", yet peak up every so often to witness glass flying everywhere and people wailing on each other. Against that aftorementioned stage, now standing upright as a wall is a large man in fetal position on the floor begging like a baby of another large man whom is repeatEdly KICKING HIM IN THE HEAD, with blood splattering against the stage-wall with each head-blow, "please... Stop... Please..!" And I'm now standing behind this atrocity, jaw dropped in shock because I've never seen such violence as a 25 year old (now called "Millennials")... Before I could do or say anything, the place empties out en masse, seconds before the cops arrive.
See what happens when there's no live music?![]()
Haven’t been there in about 20 years - I wonder how much if any has changed. :/Something about that place!

I looked it up. Queensryche.I think that's misspelled. Dont be too harsh on me I'm easily b $$! Hurt
I looked it up. Queensryche.
With two dots above the "y" but my phone won't do that.
And I don't blame you for misspelling that.

Not mine.Try pressing and holding on the letters most similar to what you want. Y in this case will give you ÿ on many mobile keyboards.
I used to tell girls I was gay when they were hitting on me (telling them I was married only made them want it more for some reason). Anyway , I had to stop that when the gay guys started hitting on me.
seriously we play a 3 or 4 hour gig and there is always some drunkard asking why we are already done and wondering why we don't want to set back up and play a song just for him.How about when you`re all done for the night, cords wrapped up, half the stuff is by the door, drunk chick still with," Come on maann, one more F`n song...you got the talent"
I know what you mean, Captain. I’m all bravado till the goods are in front of me. Then I run away. But I’m old fat and married now so it doesn’t matter anyway.Downtown 6th college bar. A real dive. During second set break two hot young college girls are looking at me like a pork chop and telling me they like the way I move. I got to admit even though I am the lead singer and absolutley fearless on stage -girls hitting on me like that seem to turn me into Cpt Awkward (also doesnt help I am sober). I mumbled that I had to go talk to someone.
CPT AWKWARD OUT!
True, in my playing days I already knew what was wrong. That's why I practiced a lot.nah. Unless it's someone you know or know of offering unsolicited advice why would their opinion hold any value?
